About Zach Boyer

My name is Zach Boyer. I am running for Pearland City Council Position 5. Born and raised in Pearland, I have seen its growth from 38,000 to over 130,000 residents. Once elected to City Council, I will fight for the families to ensure they are not taxed out of their homes, drive to and from work without damaging their vehicle, and embolden economic development.

I graduated from Pearland High School in 2016. I have completed my associate's degree at San Jacinto in Business Administration. Then currently at the University of Houston to finish my major in Economics. I now work as a Field Biologist for a private company that works all over Texas. My family consists of my Dad and Mom. My dad, Wesley Boyer, Retired Pearland Police officer, Ret. Major in the US Army and currently employed by Texas as a sergeant of investigation. My mom, Melanie Boyer. She is a legal secretary for Sidley Austin. They are High School Sweethearts from a small town called Edna, Texas, in Jackson County.

I currently serve on the Pearland Parks, Rec. Board as a vice-chair. I am also a member of the Pearland Lions Club, Houston Rodeo Alvin - Pearland Go Metro committee, Ducks Unlimited Member, Fort Bend Coastal Conservational Association member, RISE Mentor, Flatsworthy member, and Secretary for Rotary 5890 in Action.
